Biletix
We were the founders and shareholders in Turkey’s first and largest live event ticketing company, Biletix.
In 2000, we invested in the launch of Turkey’s first and largest entertainment ticketing network for sports, theatre, concerts and cinema, as a joint venture with Koc Group,Turkey’s largest industrial conglomerate. By 2007, Biletix sold 4 million tickets to over 8,000 events per year; with a staff of 170 and 46 retail outlets.
We sold our equity stake in Biletix in 2007 to Live Nation Entertainment / Ticketmaster for an 8x ROI, marking one of the earliest and most successful exits in Turkey’s tech industry.
Yoort Stores
We were the founders and shareholders in Turkey’s first and largest frozen yogurt chain, Yoort.
Founded in 2009, and with 5 locations in Istanbul, Yoort established itself as a cutting-edge, health-conscious alternative to ice cream for young upscale customers. We developed the store locations; negotiated leasing deals; and developed the retail concept and design of the chain.
We sold our stake in Yoort in 2018 to CGV Cinemas (South Korea’s largest cinema chain) in an asset sale.
